It's always nice to finally meet people you haven't seen or had quality time with for the longest time. After all the memories and fun together, it's the best feeling to know that you can still meet ages after and relive the same awesomeness. We talk about what has been up with our lives, laugh in the same silly manner about dumb things and remember why you love them so much. In that way, post A levels has been the best particularly because it allowed me to finally have the time to catch up with these people and made me realize how much I want them in my life, even if we are going down very different paths. Especially if we are going down different paths, for the perspective they provide is invaluable.
Post A levels also allowed me to see who are the ones who really care, who'd reach out to you, make plans with you, although I never really had doubts anyway because the ones who were there right from the start are thankfully still here with me. Some in particular, are those that you really... Come Home to. Can't put it better than that really.
And then there's the one that categorically falls into that category of Coming Home to. Things just don't feel right without you here.
If there's one thing that's keeping me back from uni overseas, is all the people I can't pack into my luggage and bring with me. Ok and scholarships and money and all that boring stuff but shh for now shall we.
Happy Valentine's Day everyone
Lots of love,
Weilin
