last train home
Saturday, March 14, 2009 12:36 AM

i just came home on the last train. it is freaky, taking the last train home by yourself. especially when you unknowingly almost missed it.

the last train is always filled with lots of what-ifs, what if my phone died and i was gonna get raped and i couldn't call for help, WHICH DID HAPPEN!! (i mean the phone, not raped, part.)plus all the creepy stories associated with the last train, what if it rly happened, what if i left my ez-link card on the train etcetc.

and i was really creeped out when i reached tiong, when they kept saying 死站 is going to close now, 死站 de last train was that one 死站 this 死站 that and i was like T.T wtf what 死站 ?!?! and in the end, i realised it was 此站 and then i felt quite stupid for a while.

it's also super quiet on the last train home, save for groups of friends talking. because i was bored and my phone died i eavesdropped on 2 indonesians who werent very good at english talking with a man whom i presume to be Singaporean.

and i found out that the Singaporean thought plump people looked younger, he had a friend who did some bad things behind his back and he now avoids her plus that he wants to go to uk/ireland to study.

i think that i eavesdrop rather obviously though, seeing that i was perpetually staring. but it is difficult to eavesdrop without looking at people, i find. for some reason.

this post obviously does not have a point.
